BOISE, Idaho – The San José State women's tennis team (5-6) opens Mountain West play this weekend starting with Utah State (5-5) on Friday at 9 a.m. PT, followed by a matchup with Boise State (7-4) at 12 p.m. PT on Sunday.
- The Spartans are coming off a tight 4-2 loss on Wednesday against San Francisco to end a two-match win streak
 - Rozalina Youseva won both her matches against the Dons, taking her doubles match with Irena Muradyan 6-0, followed by a 6-4, 6-1 win in her singles match
 - Jovana Babic and Muradyan lead the team in dual-match singles wins with six each
 - The Youseva/Muradyan pairing has been the best for the Spartans this season with a 4-1 record in dual matches
 - The Spartans last played Utah State on April 22 of last season, earning a 4-1 win
 - SJSU lost 4-2 at Boise State to close out last year's regular season, but was able to knock them off 4-2 in the first round of the Mountain West Tournament
