ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Reina Zermeno went 4-for-4 with three RBIs and Karizma Bergesen went 3-for-3 with three RBIs to lead San José State (15-15, 3-1 MW) in a 12-10 win over New Mexico (13-18, 1-3 MW) from Lobo Softball Field in Albuquerque, N.M. for the Spartans first road Mountain West victory of the season.
- Zermeno hit two doubles and has six on the season
- Zermeno scored a career-high three runs and stole a base
- Bergesen hit her first double of the season and has 12 RBIs, plus stole a career-high two bases and scored a run
- Alyssa Graham went 1-for-2 with a double and two RBIs and has been on base in 12 straight games
- Graham leads the team with eight doubles on the season
- Jenessa Ullegue hit her third double of the season and went 3-for-5 with a career-high four runs scored and one RBI
- Ullegue pitched the last 3.0 IP in relief and earned her seventh win of the season
- Ashley Rico, Ahmiya Noriega and Jessica Giacoma also scored runs for the Spartans
- Adrianna Noriega hit an RBI double and clinched the game with a diving catch with two outs and bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh inning
