EUGENE, Ore. – The San José State men's golf team is back in Oregon less than two weeks removed from the Bandon Dunes Championship to compete in the Duck Invitational hosted by the University of Oregon on Monday and Tuesday at the Eugene Country Club.
- The Spartans are coming off of a fifth-place finish at the Bandon Dunes Championship where they shot a 287 (-1) in the final round
- Zubair Firdaus finished in a tie for eighth after shooting a 145 (+1)
- Kristopher Stiles finished tied for 16th with a 147 (+3) after a final-round 69 (-3)
- Caleb Shetler leads the team in scoring average, averaging 72.24 strokes per round in 17 rounds this season
- The Spartans have put together five rounds under par this season
