COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The 2023 Mountain West volleyball schedule was released as the San José State volleyball team will face every Mountain West team both home and away except for New Mexico, home on October 19, and at Air Force on October 21, for their 18 conference matches.
New Spartan head coach Todd Kress gets his first taste of MW play on September 21 as the team plays at 2022 regular-season champion UNLV. SJSU opens the home portion of the schedule on September 28 against Nevada. SJSU plays five home matches in September and October and four matches in November.
The 2023 MW Tournament will be played November 22-24, at the Cox Pavilion on the UNLV campus in Las Vegas.
The rest of the 2023 volleyball schedule will be released later this spring.
The 2022 Spartans finished the season with a 21-9 overall record and a 14-4 MW mark, good for second in the conference standings. The team advanced to the championship match of the MW Tournament and won a school-record 14 MW matches.
