COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – San José State men's golfer Carl Corpus was named the Mountain West Men's Golfer of the Week, the league announced Wednesday, after leading the Spartans to a fourth-place finish at The Duck on Monday and Tuesday.
- Corpus shot a total score of 216 (+3) to finish in a tie for seventh place out of 84 participants in the tournament
- His 1-under-par 70 in the second round was tied for the fourth best score in the round
- He was third in par-3 scoring for the week, shooting even par on the par 3's.
- This was his first top-10 finish of the season
UP NEXT: The Spartans are currently participating in The Goodwin, hosted by Stanford, at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco. Round one is currently underway, and rounds two and three will take place on Friday and Saturday.
