Spartans Receiving Recognition From Various Outlets

SAN JOSE, Calif.—Ahead of the Mountain West announcing their annual awards, the San José State men's basketball program has been honored by various organizations across the country.
 
The official announcement from the MW will come Tuesday, March 7, at noon PT.

Moore is averaging 17.5 points per game this season and leads the team in assists with 146. He is seventh all-time in scoring at 1,247 points and fifth in assists with 407.
 
Miles is in his second season at the helm of the Spartan program. He turned the program from an eight-win team in 2021-22 to 19 wins so far this season. The program also recorded the most MW wins in school history with 10.
 
The Spartans are currently 19-12 on the season and finished conference play at 10-8, the most conference wins since 1993-94 and most overall wins since 1980-81.

The team enters the 2023 MW Championship as the fifth-seed and faces No. 4 Nevada Thursday afternoon a 2:30 p.m. Fans can tune into CBS Sports Network to watch the game or listen to Justin Allegri on the call on KRTB, 860 am.
