LAS VEGAS – The San José State women's basketball season came to a close on Monday night in the Mountain West Tournament quarterfinals after the Spartans (6-25, 3-15 MW) fell 72-57 to No. 2 seed Wyoming (21-9, 13-5 MW) behind 17 points from Jada Holland.

- The loss came on the heels of a three-game win streak where the Spartans never trailed
- SJSU was the first 10 seed to win in the first round of the Mountain West Tournament
- Holland led the way with 17 points, her fifth double-digit scoring performance in her last six games
- Aarion Nichols finished with her second double-double of the tournament, scoring 11 points and adding 11 rebounds
- Sabrina Ma matched Nichols with 11 points
- Holland ended the season with 29 straight games with at least one steal, taking the ball away four times in the contest
- The Spartans ended the game on an 11-5 run
