SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Caleb Shetler put together a strong second round at The Goodwin as the San José State men's golf team sits in a tie for 16th place after day two.
- Shetler shot a second-round 67 (-3) in the second round to move into a tie for ninth place overall with a total score of 138 (-2).
- Shetler's round is his third lowest score score to par of the season, with his best being a 65 (-7) in the second round at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational on October 10.
- Kristopher Stiles followed Shetler with a second-round 73 (+3).
- Shetler leads the field in par-4 scoring, shooting 4-under-par for the tournament and averaging 3.8 strokes per hole.
