MORAGA, Calif.— San José State will head north to Saint Mary's College for a doubleheader of team duels against the Gaels and the Hornets of Sacramento St. 

  • The Spartans split their last doubleheader against USF and Stanford, beating the Dons 3-2 in a team duel
  • No. 1 pair Cheyenne Rice and Jaida Ward come in having won four out of their past six matches dating back to the SJSU Tournament
  • Meredith Scott also enters the doubleheader in winning form from her last two outings, having wins over USF and CSU Bakersfield alongside Isabelle Sistek and over USF again paired with Anna Salmon
  • This is the first time the Spartans have played either school this season. Sacramento St. and Saint Mary's have played each other once already, with the Gaels beating the Hornets 5-0 in a duel meet on April 8
  • These duels will be SJSU's last chance to make adjustments before the Southland Conference Championships approaching next week

UP NEXT: The Spartans will travel to Corpus Christi, Texas for the Southland Conference Championships from April 21-23.
