SAN JOSE, Calif. – Karizma Bergesen and Makenzie Hutchinson each had RBIs to lead San José State (19-23, 7-9 MW) in a 10-2 six innings loss to Mountain West leading Boise State (23-12, 10-2 MW) in the second of a two-game series at Spartan Softball Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
- Hutchinson went 2-for-3 overall, 5-for-6 against Boise State, and has gone 6-for-12 with two RBIs, a double and a run scored in her last four games
- Bergesen hit her second double of the season and went 2-for-3 with a RBI and run scored
- Ahmiya Noriega hit her sixth double of the season and went 1-for-2 on the day
- Ah. Noriega went 5-for-11 with three doubles, one triple and two runs scored, plus put up a .909 slugging percentage in the four games this week
- Jenessa Ullegue went 2-for-3 with a run scored and has hit .385 with two doubles and two runs scored in her last four games
- Lacie Ham struck out six and has a team leading 92 strikeouts on the season
- This was the first conference home series the Spartans haven't won this season
