LAS VEGAS – San José State (9-12, 4-6 MW) opens the Mountain West Conference Tournament on Wednesday as the No. 8 seed against No. 9 seed New Mexico (10-9, 3-7 MW) at the Darling Tennis Center.
- The Spartans defeated New Mexico 4-2 on April 14 in San Jose.
- Carolina Millan leads the team in Mountain West singles wins with five and has a 9-7 dual-match record.
- Irena Muradyan leads the Spartans in total dual-match singles wins with a 10-5 record.
- Muradyan and Rozalina Youseva have an 8-4 dual-match doubles record and are 4-4 in league play.
