NAPA, Calif.—Antonia Malate ended the tournament tied for 11th as the No. 6 San José State women's golf team finished eighth at the Silverado Showdown Wednesday afternoon at the Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa.

- Malate shot a 2-over 74 in the final round to end the tournament at 5-over 221 and tie with Jillian Bourdage from Ohio State. Malate made two birdies and 13 pars during the round.
- Kajsa Arwefjäll shot a 76 and finished tied for 24th at 8-over 224.
- Louisa Carlbom and Rebecca Gyllner each finished at 15-over 321 and tied for 53rd, while Lucia Lopez Ortega tied for 61st at 16-over 232.
- San José State shot a 305 in the final round to finish eighth at 900.
- Northwestern won the team competition at 9-over 873.
UP NEXT – The Spartans look to defend their conference championship as the team plays three rounds at the 2023 Mountain West Championship, April 18-20, at the Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
