SAN JOSE, Calif. – Reina Zermeno hit an RBI single to lead San José State (16-21, 4-7 MW) in a 10-2 five innings loss to Colorado State (19-12, 5-5 MW) in the second game of a three-game series from Spartan Softball Stadium on Friday afternoon.

  • Zermeno has 17 RBIs on the season which is good for second best on the team
  • Zermeno also has hits in seven straight games and 13 of her last 15 games overall
  • Alyssa Graham went 1-for-3 with an RBI and run scored
  • Graham also extended her on-base streak to a season team best 19 games
  • Graham has a team best 24 RBIs on the season and also stole her sixth base of the season
  • Ashley Rico scored a run
  • Jules Ronquillo stole her third base this season
  • The Spartans look for to win their second Mountain West series in the rubber match tomorrow
