SAN JOSE, Calif. - San José State softball players Ashley Goard, Lacie Ham and Aubrie Thomas were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, announced by the organization on Tuesday. The team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The honorees now advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. To be recognized, student-athletes must have a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade-point average, be at least a sophomore academically and participate in at least 50 percent of team competitions.
