AUSTIN, Texas – Emilia Sjostrand finished the 2023 season with the triple jump on Saturday at the NCAA Outdoor National Championships, finishing in 14th place overall and earning Second Team All-American honors.
In her sophomore season, Sjostrand set the triple jump record at San José State (13.92 meters, 45'8"), while also holding the top five jumps on the all-time performance list. She earned the first ever Outdoor All-American honors on Thursday night with a seventh-place finish in the long jump.
- Sjostrand's third jump of 13.30 meters (47'7.75") was her best jump of the evening, putting her inside the top 20 in the event.
- She opened the event with a jump of 13.28 meters (43'7").
