AUSTIN, Texas – Ajamu Reed finished 17th in the long jump to lead San José State at the NCAA Track and Field Outdoor National Championships on Wednesday. Reed tallied a pair of jumps that cleared 24 feet.
- The freshman's first attempt went 7.41 meters (24'3.75").
- His second jump put him inside the top 17 after going 7.59 meters (24'11").
- Reed finished second among Mountain West competitors in the event.
UP NEXT: Emilia Sjostrand and Eve Divinity will compete in the women's long jump on Thursday beginning at 7 p.m. PT. The event will be live streamed on ESPN+.
