TAMPA, Fla. - San José State's Tre Jenkins and Justin Lockhart were named to the Shrine Bowl 1000 list, announced by the organization on Monday. The players are NFL draft eligible and could be chosen to compete in the 2024 East-West Shrine Bowl.
The East-West Shrine Bowl is the longest-running college all-star football game in the nation. An important part of America’s football tradition, the event gives top college players a chance to showcase their talents to NFL scouts and a national television audience. Last season, Villiami Fehoko and Nehemiah Shelton both played in the all-star game.
The 2024 game will be played at the Ford Center at the Dallas Cowboys headquarters in Frisco, Texas on Feb. 1, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. (PT) on NFL Network.
