SAN JOSE, Calif.—For the 21st consecutive semester, the San José State women’s swimming and diving team has been named a Scholar All-America team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the Spring of 2023.

San José State was one of 173 Division I teams honored on the basis of the Spring 2023 team grade point averages.

“I would like to congratulate our swimmers and divers for their continued academic focus and success. I am very fortunate to get to work with such a tremendous group of student athletes,” said Spartan head coach Sage Hopkins.

Founded in 1922, the CSCAA, the first organization of college coaches in America, is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.
