SAN JOSE, Calif. - San José State Athletics in conjunction with Playfly Sports, partnered with WMT Digital to launch a highly-interactive website at sjsuspartans.com. WMT Digital will also enhance the Spartans' mobile app released last year to create a friendly design that matches the desktop and mobile app.
"We continue to develop opportunities to improve our student-athlete and fan experiences at San José State," said Director of Athletics Jeff Konya. "Our website and mobile app are some of the first interactions the outside world has with SJSU Athletics, and we want to make that inviting and interactive so that they want to be part of our cutting-edge experience."
SJSU Athletics’ improved mobile app is designed for the best possible user experience, especially on game days. In addition to accessing mobile tickets, multimedia content and the Mountain West Network, fans will be able to utilize a number of other features to enhance their experience with live game updates, in-game contests and stats. Fans that cannot attend games can be part of the game day excitement through the app.
"By aligning our website and mobile app, we have created a user-friendly experience for our fans that will give them a one-stop opportunity to consume all the information they need on SJSU Athletics," said Deputy Athletics Director Scott MacDonald. "We thank Playfly Sports and WMT Digital for helping us design this interactive website that will further NIL opportunities for our student-athletes in the future."
The new website will allow fans to support SJSU student-athletes through a number of avenues. Player bios will feature links to the student-athletes’ NIL opportunities through Opendorse. Fans can also access their One Spartan Nation membership for ticket purchases, donations and special events.
