NORMAN, Okla. – Kristopher Stiles, Zubair Firdaus and Kotaro Murata were each named Golf Coaches Association of America All-America Scholars, the organization announced, while the San José State men's golf team was also earned the GCAA Outstanding Team Academic Award for having a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
To be eligible for GCAA All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically, must participate in 50 percent of their team’s competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.

- Finished with the second-best scoring average on the team at 72.79
- Best finish was a tie for eighth at the Bandon Dunes Invitational with a one-over par 145 (73-72)
- Lowest round was a 66 in the first round of the Mountain West Championship

- Fourth on the team with seven rounds at par or better
- Best finish was a tie for 13th at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invite with a two-under par 214 (72-71-71)
- Lowest round was a two-under par 70 in the first round of the Visit Stockton Pacific Invite
