SAN JOSE, Calif.—Blaire Fleming made her presence known on the court Saturday afternoon as she led all hitters with 15 kills and hit .310 to lead the San José State volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep of Jacksonville inside Spartan Gym.
- Fleming had her 15 kills on 29 attempts with only six errors. She also recorded two blocks in the win.
- Brooke Slusser recorded 35 assists in her second match as a Spartan, led the team with four aces and added five digs.
- In all, six Spartans recorded at least four kills in the win as the team hit .296 for the match.
- Nayeli Ti’a and Alessia Buffagni each recorded 11 digs for SJSU.
San José State improves to 2-0 on the season and faces Santa Clara on Sunday afternoon inside Spartan Gym at 4 p.m., in the battle of South Bay bragging rights.
San José State def. Jacksonville – 3-0 (25-17, 25-21, 25-19).
