SAN JOSE, Calif. - Shay McDowell, Haley Reeve, Mia Reynolds and Korie Thomas will all join the San José State softball team for the 2024 season, announced by head coach Tammy Lohmann on Wednesday. Three of them are transfers while Reeve is a freshman.
"I am excited to announce the addition of Shay, Haley, Mia and Korie to the Spartan softball family," said head coach Tammy Lohmann. "This group brings experience, versatility, depth at the plate and on the mound, in addition to more speed on the base path. We can hardly wait to get fall training started with these four athletes along with our returners and incoming freshmen class."
The Spartans look to continue their success in 2024 after making it to the Mountain West Championship game and playing in the postseason at the National Invitational Softball Championship last season.
