SAN JOSE, Calif. - Angel Iniguez continued his hot start to the season with a goal on Thursday night to lead the San José State men's soccer team (1-0-2, 0-0-0 WAC) in a 1-1 draw against the University of San Francisco (2-0-1, 0-0-0 WCC).
- Iniguez entered the contest leading the WAC in points with one goal and two assists. He was named the conference's offensive player of the week on Tuesday afternoon.
- Anthony Guzman produced the assist on the goal, his first point of the year.
- Iniguez led the Spartans with three shots, all of which were on target.
- David Sweeney made five saves.
- Joel Garcia, Kasper Poulsgaard, Josh Redfield, and Niklas Dossman each played all 90 minutes.
