The San José State women's golf team starts the season on Monday at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate. The Spartans are ranked in the top-15 in two preseason polls. The team is 13th in the Preseason Mizuno Women’s Golf Coaches Association poll, while SJSU is ranked 14th in the Golfweek preseason rankings.

A Bay Area/Northern California heavy schedule highlights the San José State women’s golf team competitions for the 2023-24 season. The team will play six tournaments or match play events in the Bay Area or surrounding area this season.
SJSU starts the season next week at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate presented by 3M. The 54-hole event is held annually at the Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo, Minn., and features 12 of the top Division I women’s golf programs in the country.
The team then returns home for the Molly Collegiate, played at the Bayonet Golf Course in Seaside, September 25-26. The Spartans last played in the tournament in 2021 when the team finished tied for second with UCLA, and Natasha Andrea Oon tied for second at even-par 216.
The Spartans go back on the road to just outside of Chicago for the Illini Women’s Invitational at Medinah at the famous Medinah Country Club, October 9-10.
San José State returns to the Bay Area for the final tournament of the fall season with the Stanford Intercollegiate, October 20-22.
The team starts the spring with the Therese Hession Regional Challenge, February 4-6, in Palos Verdes Estates, and the Pac-12 Preview in Kona, February 19-21.
SJSU then faces Stanford in the Battle of the Bay on February 29 at Cordevalle, with the Spartans defending last year’s victory.
The team stays in the Bay Area for the next three tournaments beginning with the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational, March 4-5. The tournament, co-hosted by the Spartans and San Francisco, features 36 holes played on March 4 and the final 18 on March 5 at Meadow Club near Fairfax, Calif.
The team plays at the Silicon Valley Showcase, March 11-12, in Burlingame and the Chevron Silverado Showdown, April 8-10, at the Silverado Resort and Casino to round out the regular season schedule.
The 2024 Mountain West Championship will be held April 16-18, at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif. NCAA Regionals will be run May 6-8, while the NCAA Championships will be contested May 17-22 in Carlsbad, Calif.
