SAN JOSE, Calif.—The initial version of the 2023-24 San José State men’s basketball schedule is revealed as the team will host six non-conference games at the Provident Credit Union Event Center in November and December including cross-town rival Santa Clara.
The Mountain West portion of the schedule is subject to change as national TV partners, CBS Sports and Fox Sports, will select games to be broadcast this season. Game times and date will be finalized after the selections are made. An announcement should be made in late September/early November.
Spartan fans will get to see the San José State men’s basketball team in action beginning with an exhibition game against Cal State East Bay on Saturday, November 4. The team will host former Big West foe UC Irvine and Bethesda before traveling to Texas Tech for a game on the 12th.
SJSU then plays at the 23rd U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam, November 17-20, at St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. The Spartans face Abilene Christian on Friday the 17th before two more games between the 18th and 20th.
The Spartans return to California for the first of two games against North Dakota State on the 27th at the Provident Credit Union Event Center. The team then travels down U.S. 101 to play at Cal Poly on the 29th.
December starts with the team playing at Montana on the 2nd and at North Dakota State on 4th. San José State closes out the month with three home games against New Orleans on the 9th, Montana on the 17th and Santa Clara on the 20th.
The Mountain West portion of the schedule is tentatively to begin at Wyoming on January 2, 2024. The updated MW schedule will be released in the next couple of weeks which could show any game day shifts, network outlets and tip-off times.
