DAVIS, Calif. - Ronin Axelson made three saves to lead the San José State men's soccer team (3-3-3, 0-0-0 WAC) in a 3-0 loss at UC Davis (3-3-2, 0-0-0 Big West) on Sunday afternoon.
- Axelson split goalkeeping duties with Charlie Dyer as Axelson played the opening 45 minutes and Dyer replaced him in the second half.
- Both Axelson and Dyer made their first-ever appearances for the Spartans, as did forward Leimana Makasini.
- Jesus Carrillo-Lorenzo Jr., Gilberto Rivera and Sebastian Ruiz-Hurst each registered a shot.
- Ruiz-Hurst and Kaylob Walker each played all 90 minutes.
