SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San José State women's tennis team will be taking the entire roster for the first time this fall to compete in the Cal Fall Invitational, hosted by the University of California-Berkeley on Sept. 29-Oct. 1.
- The Spartans introduce three freshmen to this year's roster who will all be making their SJSU debut: Duru Durgun from Adana, Turkey, Adriana Jimenez from San Sebastian, Spain, and Cheuk Ying Shek from Sai Kung, Hong Kong, China.
- Irena Muradyan and Carolina Millan continue their fall after a strong showing in San Diego at the USTA Collegiate Invite.
- Millan was able to win two singles matches in straight sets in San Diego.
- Muradyan won one singles match in straight sets.
- The Spartans will also take returners Jovana Babic, Olaya Bances Iglesias and Rozalina Youseva who will also compete in the Classic.
- All eight Spartans will compete in both singles and doubles, and both singles and doubles will be divided into flights.
