- Kristopher Stiles is in a seven-way tie for 14th place after shooting a one-under 71 in his opening round.
- Both Caleb Shetler and Zubair Firdaus shot a one-over 73.
- Avinash Iyer rounded things out for SJSU with an opening-round 76 (+4).
