FAIRFAX, Calif. - Zubair Firdaus fired a 203 (-10) to finish tied for 11th to lead San José State at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational at Meadow Club.
- The final round of the 54-hole tournament was played on Tuesday.
- SJSU finished the tournament in third out of 14 teams with a 819 (-33).
- Firdaus shot 67 (-4) with seven birdies in the final round.
- Carl Corpus shot a final round of 67 (-4) to finish in a tie for 15th at 206 (-7).
- Caleb Shetler finished in a tie for 20th after shooting a 207 (-6).
- Xuan Luo finished at 210 (-3) while Ivan Barahona shot a 212 (-1).
- All five players in the starting lineup finished under par for the three rounds.
- The Spartans had a total of 13 rounds at par or better.
