Women's Tennis Set For ITA Regionals At Stanford

PALO ALTO, Calif. – The San José State women's tennis team is set to compete in its third event of the fall when they compete in the ITA Regionals, hosted at Stanford University, starting on Friday and going through Thursday.

  • The team is coming off the Cal Invitational where they posted an overall singles record of 9-8 and a doubles record of 6-5.
  • Carolina Millan is currently 4-2 in singles during the fall season after going 2-1 in Berkeley and 2-1 in San Diego.
  • Jovana Babic is coming off a strong weekend at Cal where she went 2-0 in singles.
  • Duru Durgun went 2-1 in her first collegiate tournament.
  • Millan and Irena Murdyan are off to a strong start in doubles after going 3-1 at Cal.
  • Rozalina Youseva and Cheuk Ying Shek went 2-1 in their doubles matchups.
