SEATTLE - Niklas Dossmann scored his second goal of the season to lead the San José State men's soccer team (6-6-4, 3-3-1 WAC) in a 2-1 loss to No. 13 Seattle U (10-2-3, 5-0-1 WAC) on Saturday night.
- Dossmann's goal was a volley off a corner kick taken by Gaku Nishimura in the final minute of the first half.
- Nishimura registered his sixth assist of the season which ties him with Angel Iniguez for the most on the team.
- The Spartans would have conceded a third goal if not for a miraculous stop on the goal line by defender Josh Redfield. Watch the play here.
- David Sweeney made four saves.
- Iniguez led the Spartans with three shots.
- Beau Leroux made his first appearance for the Spartans since Sept. 4 against Stanford.
