MW 25TH SEASON TEAM | SIMONEAU CAREER HIGHLIGHTS VIDEO
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Former San José State women's soccer goalkeeper, Paige Simoneau, has been named to the 25th Season Team for the Mountain West Conference. The Mountain West is celebrating its 25th season of excellence and is recognizing the top 25 players in its history. Simoneau, who currently serves as an assistant coach for the Spartans, played for SJSU from 2015-18 and helped lead the team to two Mountain West Championship titles.
- Simoneau is the Spartans' all-time leader in both goals-against average (0.92) and career shutouts (21).
- In 2015 and 2018, she received the Mountain West Championship Tournament MVP.
- In 2018, she broke SJSU single-season records with 11 shutouts and a goals-against average of 0.81.
- In 2018, she was named to the All-Mountain West First Team and United Soccer Coaches All-Pacific Region Team.
- During her career, she garnered four Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week honors.
During each Mountain West Championship in 2023-24, the Conference will recognize a 25th Season Team. The team will be selected by the Mountain West 25th Season Committee, comprised of members from the 11 full-time institutions.
