SAN JOSE, Calif. – Head coach April Phillips and the San José State women’s basketball team have announced the signing of Mecca Alexander, a combo guard out of Antioch, Calif., and Cornerstone Christian School.

“Super excited to add Mecca to our program. I love Mecca’s defensive intensity, competitive nature and her ability to score at all three levels,” Phillips said. “Mecca came to Elite Camp two summers ago and exhibited so many characteristics that are important to this program. We are excited to have the opportunity to keep Mecca home, here in the Bay! Thank you to Coach Alexander for preparing Mecca for our program.”
