SJSU Wraps Up Day Two Of Mizzou Invite

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Ela Freiman broke a school record and placed third in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:19.07 to lead SJSU in day two of the Mizzou Invite. The Spartans finished the day in sixth place with 161 points. 

  • Jenna Jagielski placed fourth in the 1m dive with a score of 267.20. 
  • The 200-yard medley relay team of Ellie Shorten, Vilma Lindberg, Reagan Mathieson, and Freiman recorded a time of 1:41.81 to place eighth. 
  • Shorten clocked a time of 55.94 in the 100-yard backstroke to record a personal best. 
  • Mathieson recorded a time of 1:50.96 in the 200-yard freestyle. 
  • Lindberg finished the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:02.85.
