CHARLOTTE AMALIE, U.S. Virgin Islands - San José State men's basketball guard Myron (MJ) Amey Jr. was selected to the 2023 Paradise Jam All-Tournament Team on Monday night. The team was voted upon by tournament staff and select media members.
- Led the Spartans to a 2-1 record in the tournament.
- Averaged 16.0 points, 4.67 assists and 2.0 steals per game.
- Distributed at least four assists in all three games, leading the tournament with 14 total.
- Shot 50 percent or better from the field in two of the three games.
- Made a season-high four 3-pointers in a 77-53 win over Norfolk State on Saturday.
- Registered a season-high three steals in a 71-52 victory over Hampton on Monday.
- One of five players named to the all-tournament team.
