FULLERTON, Calif. – After a record-setting win on Monday night, San José State (4-4, 0-0 MW) kicks off one final road trip of 2023 on Tuesday when they take on Cal State Fullerton (2-3, 0-0 Big West) at 7 p.m.
- The Spartans are coming off a record-breaking win over Bethesda on Monday, knocking off the Flames 122-28.
- Sabrina Ma scored a career-high 31 points with a career-high seven 3-pointers.
- Ma's seven 3-pointers tied a Provident Credit Union Event Center record.
- Amhyia Moreland had a career high in points and rebounds with 26 points and 12 rebounds. It is her first-career double-double.
- Sydni Summers also had a double-double with 13 points and a career-high 10 assists. It is the first time since 2019 that a Spartan recorded double-digits assists in a game.
- Sophia Jones made her return to the court for the first time since the 2021-22 season and scored a career-high eight points.
- Alani Fluker pulled down a career-high 10 rebounds.
- The Spartans tied a single-game record in steals with 23.
- The 94-point win margin is a new record, surpassing the previous record of 66 set in 2019.
