SAN JOSE, Calif. - Trey Anderson scored 21 points and Myron (MJ) Amey Jr. recorded a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the San José State men's basketball team (5-2, 0-0 MW) in a 78-65 win over North Dakota State (4-4, 0-0 Summit League) on Monday night.
- The Spartans scored 46 points in the second half, registering more than 40 points in a half for the sixth time this season.
- Anderson went 4-for-6 from three-point range, tying his season high for 3-pointers made.
- For Amey Jr., the double-double was the second of his career; he tallied 23 points and 12 rebounds against San Diego State on February 9, 2022.
- Tibet Görener had 15 points and made three 3-pointers, moving into fifth all-time for most 3-pointers made in SJSU history with 127.
- Alvaro Cardenas produced 10 points, led the Spartans with seven assists and made a career-high six free throws.
- Diogo (DJ) Seixas had a career-high eight points, four rebounds and two blocks in 18:57 minutes.
- Garrett Anderson made his first appearance of the season as he returned from injury.
