SAN DIEGO – The San José State women's basketball team (6-11, 1-4 MW) goes back on the road on Saturday to take on San Diego State (11-8, 2-4 MW) at 3 p.m. The game will be broadcasted nationally on FS1.
- The Spartans are coming off a 68-64 loss at home against Boise State.
- Sydni Summers scored a career-high 14 points to lead the Spartans.
- Jyah LoVett continued her hot streak in Mountain West play with 13 points. She has scored in double digits in every MW game this season.
- LoVett earned Mountain West Freshman of the Week for the second-consecutive week on Jan. 15 and third time this season.
- LoVett ranks in the top 10 in the Mountain West during league play in PPG (third), FG percentage (ninth), assists (sixth), FT percentage (second), steals (sixth), 3PT FG made (tied for fourth), assist/turnover ratio (eighth) and minutes played (fourth).
- The Spartans are first in the league during conference play in 3PT percentage, fourth in FG percentage, fifth in rebounding defense, fifth in blocked shots, tied for second in steals and third in 3PT FG made.
