SAN DIEGO – Amhyia Moreland and Sydni Summers each scored in double digits, but San José State (6-12, 1-5 MW) fell 63-51 to San Diego State (12-8, 3-4 MW) on Saturday afternoon on the national FS1 broadcast.
- It was the first time the Spartans have played on national television since 2006 and the third time overall.
- Moreland's 18 points were a game high, and her seven rebounds were a team high.
- Summers knocked down three 3-pointers in the contest and finished with 14 points, matching her career high.
- The Spartans pulled down 11 offensive rebounds.
- SJSU also outscored SDSU 29-21 in the second half.
