WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. - Carl Corpus led the way for the Spartans in round two of the Southwestern Invitational with a two-under-par 69, as San José State currently sits in 10th place overall as a team.

  • Corpus finished the day with a two-round total of 137 (-5) and is in a tie for eighth individually.
  • He also has a total of nine birdies and an eagle in both rounds one and two. 
  • Zubair Firdaus fired a 69 (-2) for a two-day total of 144 (+2) to finish the round in a tie for 38th.
  • Ivan Barahona shot a 71 (E) in round two.                                                                                                  
  • Caleb Shetler rounded out the Spartan lineup with a 73 (+2).
  • Xuan Luo shot a 75 (+4) for a two day total of 145 (+3).
  • The Spartans shot a team score of 282 (-2) in round two for a two day total of 570 (+2).
