LOGAN, Utah - Myron (MJ) Amey Jr. scored 14 points to lead the San José State men's basketball team (8-13, 1-7 MW) in an 82-61 loss at No. 17 Utah State (19-2, 7-1 MW) on Tuesday night.

  • Alvaro Cardenas was the other Spartan to score in double figures as he produced 11 points to go along with five assists.
  • Freshman Christian Wise played a career-high 14 minutes and led the Spartans with seven rebounds.
  • Adrame Diongue and Amey Jr. led the Spartans with two steals each.
  • The Spartans won the turnover battle, committing only 10 compared to the Aggies 14.
  • The Spartans trailed by only seven at halftime against the Aggies, who remain undefeated at home this season.
