Spartans Travel To Utah State For First Mountain West Road Game

LOGAN, Utah – The San José State women's basketball team (5-8, 0-1 MW) hits the road on Saturday to take on Utah State (3-10, 0-2 MW) for their first road Mountain West game of the season.

  • The Spartans are coming off a 70-67 loss against Fresno State in their Mountain West opener on Wednesday.
  • Freshman Jyah LoVett showed out in her Mountain West debut with a career-high 26 points.
  • LoVett ranks in the top 10 in the Mountain West in PPG (8th), assists (T6th), FT percentage (5th), steals (2nd), assists/turnover ratio (7th) and minutes played (8th).
  • Sabrina Ma is fourth in the Mountain West in 3PT FG's per game, averaging 2.23.
  • Amhyia Moreland is sixth in the Mountain West in rebounds per game at 6.62.
