COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Four San José State women’s gymnasts have been honored by the Mountain West this week for their performances last week at the Mean Girls Super 16 Gymnastics Championships.
MW Gymnast of the Week – Lauren Macpherson
Recorded a 38.850 in the all-around
MW Freshman of the Week – Marissa Ashton
Top freshman in the league with a 9.825 on beam to lead off the Spartan lineup
MW Vault Specialist of the Week – Madison Kirsch
Season-best 9.850 on vault
MW Co-Bars Specialist of the Week – Jada Mazury
Team’s best score of the meet with a 9.875 on bars
