BOISE, Idaho - Myron (MJ) Amey Jr. scored 21 points on 8-of-15 shooting to lead the San José State men's basketball team (9-18, 2-12 Mountain West) in an 82-50 loss to Boise State (18-8, 9-4 Mountain West) on Tuesday night.
- Amey Jr. knocked down three 3-pointers and recorded team highs of three steals and two blocks.
- Tibet Görener registered a game-high four 3-pointers and finished with 12 points.
- Christian Wise led the Spartans with seven rebounds.
- Rickey Mitchell Jr. made the first free throws of his career as he went 2-for-2 at the line.
- The Spartans shot 50 percent from 3-point range in the second half (7-for-14).
UP NEXT: The Spartans will return home for Senior Night against Nevada on Friday, Feb. 23 on FS1 and KTRB 860 AM. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center. The Spartans will recognize three seniors, Trey Anderson, Görener and Ryen Perry.
