COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – San José State men's golfer Carl Corpus was named the Mountain West Men's Golfer of the Week, the league announced Thursday, after finishing second-place individually out of 124 golfers at The Amer Ari Invitational on February 8-10.
- Corpus shot a total score of 198 (-18) with a final round of 64 (-8).
- He finished with a total of 18 birdies and an eagle over three rounds.
- He shot consecutive rounds of 67-67-64.
- The Spartans shot program records with a team score of 267 (-21) in round three for a three-day total of 826 (-38).
UP NEXT: The Spartans will head to Bandon, Ore. to compete in the Bandon Dunes Championship hosted by Idaho at Bandon Dunes Resort on March 10-12.
