HOUSTON - Jenna Jagielski set a school record and finished third in the 1-meter springboard with a score of 323.40 to lead the San José State swim and dive team on the first day of the Mountain West Swim and Dive Championships.
- Jagielski is the first SJSU diver to finish in the top 3 of the 1-meter springboard since joining the conference in 2013-2014.
- Jagielski broke the old record of 315.45 set by Cari Reiswig in 2017 by nearly 8 points
- Ela Freiman, Amelia Snyder, Reagan Mathieson, and Reka Kovacs placed fourth in the 800-yard freestyle relay with a time of 7:16.83, the third fastest in SJSU history.
- The 200-yard medley relay team of Ellie Shorten, Vilma Lindberg, Freiman, and Lais e Silva placed ninth with a time of 1:41.84.
- Emily San Jose finished 24th to score points for the Spartans in the 1-meter dive with a score of 212.10.
