SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San José State baseball team (0-3, 0-0 MW) has its first home series of the season this weekend when they take on Seattle U (2-2, 0-0 WAC) on Friday-Sunday at Excite Ballpark.
Friday's first pitch is scheduled for 3:05 p.m., with game times on Saturday and Sunday being scheduled for 2:05 p.m. and 12:05 p.m., respectively.

- Saturday: LHP Micky Thompson vs. LHP Peter Chronowski

SAN JOSÉ STATE:
- Hunter Dorraugh tied the SJSU home run record in Sunday's game at UC San Diego with his 26th home run as a Spartan and first of 2024.
- Dalton Bowling also moved up the home run list with his 23rd career home run, which ties him for fourth all time.
- Game three at UC San Diego was a career day for Nathan Cadena, who finished the contest with four RBIs, which tied his career high.
- Matt Spear is currently the leading hitter for the Spartans with a .333 batting average after getting three hits at UC San Diego.
SEATTLE U:
- This is the first matchup between the Spartans and the Redhawks since April 28, 2013.
- In nine total matchups, the Redhawks lead the series 5-4.
- The last Spartan win against Seattle U was on April 27, 2013 when the Spartans won 7-1.
- Seattle U is coming off a 2-1 series loss at UC Davis over the weekend, followed by a 9-5 win at Pacific on Monday.
