SAN JOSE, Calif. - Hunter Dorraugh hit his 27th career home run to become the all-time leader at San José State and lead the Spartans (1-4, 0-0 MW) in a 4-3 walk-off win over Seattle University (3-3, 0-0 WAC).
- Dorraugh was tied with Shane Timmons (2015-18) at 26 career home runs before he crushed a pitch over the left field wall in the eighth inning to even the game at 3-3.
- Nathan Cadena produced the walk-off hit for the Spartans, knocking in Dorraugh with a double in the bottom of the 10th inning.
- Dorraugh, Kimo Fukofuka and Theo Hardy each had two hits.
- One of Hardy's two hits was a solo home run to open the scoring in the first inning
- Right-handed pitcher Cade Van Allen earned the win by tossing 3.0 innings of scoreless relief.
- Left-handed pitcher Micky Thompson started the game and pitched 5.0 innings, surrendering only three runs on six hits.
- LHP Corey Sanchez completed 2.0 scoreless innings.
