Spartans Back On The Road At Air Force

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The San José State women's basketball team (6-20, 1-13 MW) is back on the road this weekend to take on Air Force (12-16, 5-10 MW) on Saturday afternoon. Tip-off is scheduled for 12 p.m. PT.

  • The Spartans are coming off a 71-70 loss to Utah State on Wednesday.
  • The Spartans currently rank third during Mountain West play in rebounding defense and rebounding margin.
  • SJSU is also tied for fourth in steals, fifth in offensive rebounds per game, second in offensive rebound percentage, and fifth in blocks.
  • Amhyia Moreland is third during Mountain West play in FG percentage and offensive rebounds, fourth in blocked shots and 10th in scoring.
  • Sofia Kelemeni had a career-high 10 assists on Wednesday, the second Spartan to have at least 10 assists in a game this season (Sydni Summers vs. Bethesda 11/27).
  • Wednesday was Sabrina Ma's second 20-plus-point game of the season (Bethesda 11/27). 
  • The Spartans fell 78-56 in their previous matchup with Air Force on Feb. 3.
