COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Nailea Nicholas neared a double-double to lead San José State (6-21, 1-14 MW) as they fell 67-53 to Air Force (13-16, 6-10 MW) on Saturday afternoon.
- Nicholas came off the bench to score a season-high 12 points on 4-of-7 from the field and pulled down a season-high nine rebounds.
- Amhyia Moreland also neared a double-double, scoring a team-high 15 points and pulled down eight rebounds.
- She scored 12 of her 15 points in the first half.
- Sofia Kelemeni had a strong day on the glass, matching Nicholas with nine rebounds.
- The Spartans doubled up Air Force on the glass 48-24 with 16 offensive rebounds.
